Did you know that pen names, or in French, nom de plume, have been used throughout history by authors who, for one reason or another, want to conceal or change their identity? For example, Dr. Seuss is a pen name – that’s right, the author of Cat in the Hat made up his published name! For many, it’s part of the creative process. What name can you come with? Start brainstorming some fabulous pen names for yourself, and then share it with others – and know that you’re now part of a community of imaginative, horse-loving writers!
I used to be a member of PONY but am no longer because my mother could no longer afford the package cost at the time since her other bills needed to be paid and such. I truly miss being a member and hope to one day join again. I have every package I ever got from PONY still and I look through them all the time.
I was actually wondering if PONY could let me help out with the advice column? I think it would be a lot of fun. Sure you probably are able to do it on your own of course, but, I thought I’d ask anyway.

Thanks for replying! They are great books you should start reading them really soon!! I am still on book one:The Wild One I am just about finished with book one. I have the first three books:The Wild One:Mustang Moon and Dark Sunshine. There are about 24 books in the series! When you read them it is like you are there! I am 11. How old are you? If you want to know more about The Phantom Stallion reply back!

i am ten years old! and the youngest in my class!
Never heard of those books!
I am finally able to ride a horse by myself with out it bein led around with a rope. Even though i am fifteen i just started riding with my friend. I love pony!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
i love that book its so cool and sad to say i just turned 12 so i cant say i am my fave age anymore which is 11
I need some help. My horse Sandy is just 3 years old and she is scared of a bridle and bit.
I hate to put it on her but I have to. To train her.
Now she’s mad at me for putting the bit into her mouth and for that I can’t even get around her without her trying to kick me.
What should I do?

number 1 thing you should do is teach the horse who is boss and i use that term loosly cause you dont want to get hurt dont get me wrong i love horses and all animals so here is what you should do you should get a grownup to hrlp you get the bridle and bit out of her mouth and then you should spend a little time with ur horse every day even if it is just sitting by the door every day to comfort her make sure she knows who you are and if she still continues to do the same thing get bobbie to help u

Hi i want to know how many of you know alot about horses because i am crazy about horses but i only know a little about them i only know what is in the pony magizine,breeds poster,and the things i learn from my cousins old pony diary called my dream horse and me.If any of you know anything about horses if you could please let me know i need help with traing a colt to be a good horse for people.The colt is not mine he’s my aunts and uncle’s colt. after he’s trained he’ll be ready to sale. poor little colt i’ll miss him.(:

My horse is 3 or 4 years old yes i bought him from las lunas but the little girl who owend him dropped him off at a horse sale place to get a stronger horse and she never put him in a trailer or put a saddle on him she rode him bareback. I can’t believe she would abonded her horse!!!

that is so cool!! I am so happy you saved your horse!! Anyway yesterday i just learned that my horse BElla …. is foundered!! She was founderend before we bough her and they did not even tell us!!! I am so mad at them. Don;t worry we are still going to keep her and ride her but she will just never never have normal feet and she will need not normal shoes for the rest of her life!! Poor Bella!!
