New Art in PONY’s Online Gallery!
Greetings, artists! Over the years we’ve received unbelievably creative and gorgeous art from you, making it difficult to narrow down all of the submissions when curating Stella’s Art Gallery for PONY Magazine each month. Well, we’ve finally decided to do something about this: every third Monday of the month, we’ll select an additional twelve new works of art to exhibit in our online gallery. So put on those berets, get out the watercolors, go wild, then send us your work and keep checking here! You never know when you might be PONY’s next grand artist!
Want to see your picture here? Directions on how to submit artwork can be found on in our online Art Gallery or on page 11 of PONY Magazine. Sorry, but only PONY members’ artwork will be accepted.

I draw horses A LOT, but usually it’s just little doodles or I draw them on lined paper. Maybe I’ll submit some soon…:)
Same here. Horses are so fun to draw, but when I look at a real horse compared to my drawing I’m wondering how I missed so many beautiful details.

Ps. I was sent home form school today because i had lice and i was almost crying because now i have a ton of homework!! Like a seven page study guide!! Also i feel so bad because my friends saw me going to the nurse (because my sister said i might have lice to the Nurse) and and i did not come back! I feel so bad!! I hope they understand!! Also next week i have three big test in a row!! I HATE LICE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Thanks for reading this and i know this is random!!
Yeah. I suck at making back legs too. So i usually just draw heads. or jumping horses. I’m getting better at them. I’m able to draw back legs on them, oddly enough…

Yeah. I’m not too good with shading. I try hard to make the muscle tones look accurate and I try to shade but it doesn’t always work out. They don’t do the horses justice =)

Lol. But all Arabs? Cool!
I’ve tried to draw Arabians before. I’m not too good at it…I want to make the tail streaming out behind them, but that doesn’t usually turn out the way I want it haha.

Ha thanks! I was working on drawing a horse last night, but I gave up and drew little cartoon horses on the other side. I like making shaggy cartoon ponies or a cartoon Baron. =)

I’ve never gotten lice before, sounds bad though! I meant “Yep, it sucks that way” by when never being able to draw a horse perfect.
No prob! I’m just glad you’re feeling all better. And I think I will send in a drawing to pony! I’ll start drawing it soon, and I’ll tell you if I send it in!
lol, for me, I often draw Arabians with their curvy heads. The ranch I ride at specializes in Arabians, so Arabians dominate there…which means when I draw a straight head, it looks wrong to me lol.
I love it! I droaw a lot and I subitted 2 pictures, but they havent come up yet
oh well! I check every day!

I like to make little cartoons of baron on my notes in class. They’re cute I think, but he wouldn’t think they do him justice. he can be very show-offy at times. he has a funny personality.
That’s cute! Baron sounds like a really interesting horse. He sort of reminds me of a horse in the book Sundancer, but I guess I really can’t compare.

Baron rubs too after a lesson. And he also has a habit of yawning when I’m trying to tighten his noseband.
We haven’t done any off-campus shows yet, but maybe this summer. He is a big show off. Do you and Amiracle show?

LOL! Ooh, that sounds bad. It’s spring break for us here, so I’m taking advantage of it and just came back from another trail ride lol. Have you ever swam with Baron? I’ve never swam with any horse, so I’m wondering what it feels like!!!
No, sadly, I haven’t.
I’ve walked through streams and little creeks with other horses at my old barn, but not with Baron yet. My mom went to Ireland when she was pregnant with me and swam with the horses there, so maybe that could count…;)
Yeah, I’d love to see a pic of Baron, and show off Amiracle lol.
And it would be so awesome to be able to see other PONY member horses far and wide!!! Amiracle has this really bad habit of rubbing on me after each lesson. I’m prepared for it, and I’m like, “I am so ready for this…” and then she rubs and i just didn’t expect it!!! 
So does Baron show?
lol, Baron sounds very appealing! Amiracle likes to play with her bit, so it’s hard for me to tighten the noseband as well.
Amiracle and I haven’t gotten to much showing yet, although she does very nicely in shows. 
We will hopefully be able to show more this year!

Lucky today my lice went a way!!!!! Yah!! I am so happy you have never had ice because you do not want it the bugs eat your blood and lay there eggs on your head!! It is yuck!! I am 11 years old.

Then he got a bath!! I’m so happy Spring is here!!!
I rode Baron today and we worked outside (he didn’t rush too much to the jumps. Yay!!) and then went on a mini-trail ride.
My instructor was talking about playing Manhunt on horseback again. It was really fun last time I did it, and I’ll be more confident this time because I know better how Baron acts on the trails. =)
Baron likes baths, I think. Or at least, he doesn’t seem to care haha. =]
Baron likes to go fast at times, but sometimes is lazy.
My worst fall…hmmm…it might be when I fell off a pony named Chrissy. Baron was feeling a little pre-colic-y, so I rode a pony named Chrissy in a lesson. We took a bounce, she refused the second one, and I came off and fell on a standard. It wasn’t too far to fall, at least!! =D
I really need to ride right now. But while I’m waiting for tomorrow’s lesson, I’m going to dig my nose into a bunch of PONY books.

I’m AWESOME at drawing horses…I draw them everyday to keep them looking good..I’m planning to put one up….but, I mostly draw Appaloosas, paints, and AQH wich are like 3 of my top 10 favorites….well talk to you guys later!
