The Mounted Manhunt is today, Saturday, isn’t it?

It got canceled due to rain!
And rescheduled to the day of my cousin’s wedding. I asked my mom if I can play sdome mounted manhunt for a bit then run home and get ready for the wedding, but she said no lol. Oh well, my other cousin is a horse person too, so I’ll be able to talk to her 
Aww, that really sucks. That’s OK, Baron won’t know all the fun he missed…or will he? Lol! And if you have another horsey person to talk to, it won’t be bad at all

Jessica/ponylover, I think that Horselover put her horse down to end his misery. Horselover did the right thing. I’ve lost pets myself too, and I know how it feels to watch them go away. It hurts, really bad, but Horselover–your horse is in heaven now.

Bobbie and Sarah – Although I’m really psyched about the May package, my PONY mag was missing a few pages and I got the same surprise, a Willy stapler, as the last package. I don’t mind too much, but what WAS the surprise this month?

Haha. My cat loved the curry and half-closed her eyes blissfully, but my guinea pig Calico freaked out when I ran it over her. Her eyes got big and she ran away from me. She’s been okay with the other PONY brushes though, so maybe it’s just because it feels weird.
Haha aww. Poor little guinea pig. Curry combs can be very scary, you know

I am just so happy that Pony made this chatting thing. Pony is really the pony place i can talk about my two horses without worrying about it. I wish i could talk to my friends about my horses 24/7 but they do not have horses and ride very little. So i do not talk about my horses around them like almost never so they do not feel upset or sad that they do not have there own horse or pony!! So Thanks POny!!!

I had a great riding lesson on Thursday, but I fell off.
I can usually sit through hyper Amiracle’s bucks and lunges, but I was trying out a new saddle and the next thing I know, I’m thrown forward and fell in front of Amiracle. She kept on cantering forward, and then she stopped, saw me, and was like, “Huh? You shouldn’t be on the floor!” She’s so cute!

I think I might have found a picture to send into pony, but I’ll wait till Wednesday and see if I can’t get an even better one

I hate cuts. I fell off last year and got a lovely brush burn right on my chin and one on my arm. But jessica/ponylover is right–it makes you a better rider!

I know, that’s why I SOMETIMES don’t mind falling off.
Yeah, she’s still young, so she can get some hyper spasms. 
I think every horse can lol. One older lesson mare at my barn–her name is Daisy. She’s a draft mix and is so cute!!–gets fresh and tries to “buck” sometimes, but usually just kicks out. Another older lesson mare named Blaze just kinda throws he butt up in the air. But I know that she would’ve bucked people off when she was younger!!

Have fun!! I loved my first riding lesson!! If it’s your first lesson ever, you won’t canter right away. You’ve gotta get used to it first! But any time spent on a horse is an amazing time, I think.

Whoohoo, that’s going to be really fun!
After you master the walk and the trot, you’ll be able to canter. Its a really awesome experience. But be prepared, horseback riding may not be easy as you think! It all depends on the horse! But it’s a good thing you aren’t afraid, horses can catch fear quickly.
Uh huh! It’s like a total connection up there. You think something, and the horse seems to think it too. They pick up on nerves very, very easily and it can freak them out if they feel nervous. Just relax, smile, and have loads of fun! It’s amazing!
Exactly! I think it is so incredible how they can measure every movement you have on their back. They can feel if you are sitting deep or even just leaning forward a little.

Awesome! I’ve never done Cross country with baron, but I’ve done it at my old barn. It’s so fun! Baron likes jumping and trail rides and is good with both, so I don’t think he’s have a problem with it. Maybe with some scary jumps, but we can get through it if we try! He’s a fast learner and is very cooperating.

Thank you! It was so much fun! We had a blast on the bus ride there just talking and laughing. We got there and learned so much stuff! My group went on a ghost tour the first night and got back late. We stayed at a hotel and were watching a spanish channel in the morning because nothing else interesting was on. Our room didn’t have a clock, so we had to watch a news channel for the time lol so we knew when to go down for breakfast. The car ride back seemed to take FOREVERRR because everyone was tired and hot.
But everyone still had so much fun!

Have you found your cat yet? I hope so! Please let us know. Cats do get sneezes and coughs, but much more common, especially this time of year, is hairballs. Cats lick themselves clean, of course, and during shedding seasons (like now) they can ingest a lot of fur. It usually passes through, but if it becomes clumped in their stomachs they might have to vomit them up (that’s the sound of the hacking). Hairballs can be harmless, but if not treated they can also become dangerous, as the cats have little room in their stomachs for food. There are several things you can do – the best is brushing your cat regularly to remove the old hair. You can also give them a special hairball malt gel that comes in a tube at your pet store or grocery store. My cats love the stuff, and lick it right off the tube, but one cat doesn’t like it so I “paint” her paws with the gel. If the cat vomits regularly, then it’s time to call your vet. And if the cat keeps sneezing and coughing without bringing up anything you should still call your vet as it might be something else.
