Themgh stands for the marianna greene henry she was the one that first thought of introducing hippo therapy to my state. she died from heart disease before it was sucessfull so they named the place after her. they have blind and deaf children who come and ride horses. it helps with their confidence and balance. i love it there i love the smell and the horses and wel ven the flies.lol ok not the flies.

I just finshed reading Bree enters the ring yesterday!!!!!
I read it waiting for my grandparents at there house!!!! 
IT IS AMAZING BOOK!!!!!!!!! ( They had to go to a loin clubs thing) It made the time go by so much faster!!!!

So the sisters try to make him like the farm life and it is amazing how they do it!!!! 
it is a series. This is the fourth book. POny just started the seires the series is called WIld horse creek!!!! 
It is about these two girls and there mom that are staying the summer at there grandparents farm who can barly take care of them selfs ( they want to live there forever) and they have a brother named MAtt who comes to the farm who has never rode a horse/ hates them and the girls try to make him like the farm life so they might have a more likey cause of living at the farm togther!!!!

Hey guys,
When i come to pick her back hoof she pushes to the side and trys to kick me. 
t is scary and it makes it really hard to clean her hoof and also sometimes when I got to pick her front feet she will swing her head around And try to bite me!!!! 
I really need help with this. Can any of you help?? Thanks!!!

Ps. She is doing that because she is young and she wanted hay.
You gotta let her know that you’re in charge and you’re just trying to make her feel better by cleaning her feet. Be careful, though. Run you hand down her back leg a few times and talk to her to let her know that you’re just picking her feet. Then pick up her foot and clean it out. And for her front feet you can try the same or put her in cross ties or something that can’t let her turn her head around. I hope this helps!

I think i just need to do more with her but it is hard because it is going to rain all day again and the paddock is awful!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I tryed doing what you suggested when i was bushing her on the cross tries last night and it did not work. I kept running my hand up and down her leg a few times but everytime she kicked her leg up. I even tryed talking to her about it but it did not work.

bella is probelly afaid because she can’t see you. before you pick up her hoof, run your hands down her leg or on her hoof. then tap her hoof a few times, talking to her. then raise her hoof a few inches and put it down. then do it again, but raise her foot a little higher. do it again, but this time move her hoof up and pick it out. fon’t crank her foot up to her belly thouogh. i picked out a horse named millie’s hooves, and she keep tring to kick me, so that’s how i handled it. when bella tries to bite you, push her head aside gently and say, “No thanks.” after about 3 times, she will get tired and stop. cross ties minght work, but it won’t solve the problem.

Maybe you should try doing this: Sometimes go out with her even if you’re not riding or doing anything with her. Tie her up and run your hand down her leg. The first time she doesn’t kick, pat her, give her a treat, and then you turn her back out.

I had so much fun on thursday to the orientation at the mgh arena! I am going back to the arena on thursday of this week to stay all day and help with the classes and riders club for aidb the blind school in my state. It is so fun! i would love to just stay in the barn with the horses. i will probably do that anyway. i got to go! but i will try to tell you about my day on thursday if i am not so dogged tired out!!!!

i was but it will and is worth it! lol i hope to make a difference you know. i wont be doing the ride a thon at the arena this year because my family and everyone is goin to fronteir days at the old spanish fort in november. i love the fry bread! o well i hope to take a few lessons soon with kit my moms friend. i cant wait till i get the september package! i might have to skip the october one if there is halloweeny stuff in it. we dont celebrate holidays, i mean we used to eat dinner with my grandad when he was still alive he always would have lunch waiting on us on sunday and thankgiving sometimes even around christmas. but that was just having a meal with family.

Hey i was wondering once i pay for september i will have 700 points should i get the grab bag or just keep saving? im kinda getting a bit impatient though waiting to cash in my points, LOL o and in the platinum is it anything in the section i could get or is it just the items that say free with 1100 points? i just thought of that. i dont have a horse to use the brushes on so i would probably end up getting the treasure box, or something.
i got the grooming kit i don’t have a HORSE either but i use it for lessons

The first day was kind of bad.
I didn’t sleep very good so I was grumpy. 
but the next day was much better. 
I think I got out of scool on june 11 but I’m not sure. I like being in 7th grad its fun! for science I’m doing chemistry and its realy fun! 
The 18th was my first day of school and I’ve had % tests already!!
I love the weekened!!!!!!!! the only time I’m able to go on Pony!
But I am excited to get to a serten chapter in Life Science! I was flipping though my text book and we’ll brefly go the first horse to precent day horses!!!!!!!!!!

i had to muck out some stalls and the arena, i helped get the lesson horses in for the grooming and stuff, i helped the deaf class groom the horses, i put them up in the stalls after that then got them back out and groomed and tacked up for the riders club, i put them in the pasture at the end of the day. that was pretty much my day. i was so wiped out by the time i got home. i dont know if i can go this thursday because my dog pulled me down on the slick porch saturday and bruised y bacckside realy bad i thought i broke my hip or tail bone.

well i would but he doesnt understand english h understands dog speak! LOL i know a little lol but he doesnt mean to he is just to strong for his own good. he is a german sheperd and very high strung! i can barely keep him reined in when he sees another dog on our streets during our walks. but when i fell he came and check on me sniffin and lickin and stuff so he knew i was hurt.

But eventually my friend will be coming over to do it with me a few days a week. Did you know I only have school Monday through Thursday? No Friday! Whee!! 
Unfortunately my friend can’t come yet, because a couple of her sisters (she has six!! And no brothers!) had lice eggs in their hair. 
She doesn’t have any, but just to be safe she’s not coming over yet.

This summer there has been lots of ants. they are such a pain!!!
yesterday I had them in my room and I never eat in my room so there whern’t any crums(gerrr) they are also in the kichen a lot. today are bug man is coming so they will hopefully go away. I’m so glad!

I agree I DO not like ants! but I do love praying mantis. this morning I whent outside there where like a million of them ( ok maby there wasn’t a million but there where a lot!) last year we kept one. it was so fun to wach him eat. he whould be super still then when the bug flew past he whould stach it out of the air then he whould eat it up! and after his dinner he whould clean him self like a cat! it was so funny to wach.

OMG!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I just found out that only ONE town away form me a horse died of the EEE veris!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I am really scared for my horses now!!! I mean they spayed in that town but i heard on the news that a man got bit by a bug with EEE Just after they spayed in that Area the week before!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! 
So The sparying helps keep the bugs down but it does not stop the bugs who do not have it to get it!!!!!!!!
