So very sad Pony is ending. I’m going to miss the people and my packages and everything. I hope everyone on here will continue to enjoy horses and that they have a great rest of their lives….GOODBYE MY FRIENDS AND GOODBYE PONY!

I’ve been riding for 8 months now. I love every minute of it. I cant wait till October. I’m helping Ms. Lindsey at the Bluebonnet Equestrian Humane Society’s event in Austin…..Yeah!!!! I did fall off once when I first started and ended up in the ER but I got back on 7 days later with a black eye. Now I’m trotting bareback. I love horseback riding!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I have lessons every Saturday. After that, I am baking cookies, making candy, and gingerbread houses for my family and friends. Sunday I’m going to see the Nutcracker Ballet at the Wortham Theater in downtown Houston with my mom, nana, and papa. I hope I get some rest before Monday or I may be sleeping through class…LOL

I would love to see wolves and snow. Here in Texas, we rarely see snow and the closest we have to wolves are the coyotes. Most of the time they leave our cows alone, but during the winter with the drought we have, they try to steal the calves. My mom and dad have to shoot them if they do it. I’m learning how to shoot as well. We hate to do it, but we only will if it’s necessary to save our calves. Hope the wolves leave your cows alone. Dooly can jump high. My dog Nala climbs things like trees. She is a Ridgeback/Catahoula mix.I thinks it’s cool that you live on a farm too. Ours is small, only 80 acres, but I love helping out with the cows and chickens. My favorite chicken is my pet rooster, Special. I trained him to wear a halter. Anyway,stay warm and safe.

I have had 4 lessons now and I love it!!!!!!!!!!!! Benny, the horse I ride is so sweet. And Miss Lindsey, my instructor, is so cool and nice. Benny loves to nuzzle me with his muzzle…and I love it too. I ride him saddled and bareback…no bareback pad either. My friend thinks you have to use a bareback pad with stirrups to ride bareback. Miss Lindsey says bareback means nothing on the horses back. I agree. My BFF has been riding for 3 years and she thinks she knows everything. It gets very frustrating sometimes. I wish she could just be happy for me instead of always trying to out do me. Benny loves alfalfa pellets and starlight peppermints! Whenever he eats starlight peppermints his breath smells really good. I also learned how to pick his hooves, and that was so cool! It is silly when Benny tries to lay down when you lift his front left leg! I hope all my friends on here are getting to have as much fun as I am with whatever you love to do. Hope to post again soon.

hey thats great! i tought myself how to ride of corse it was on a pony Mister and he wasn’t broke very well.ur friend couldn’t be more wrong,i know how it is when some1 tells u u can’t do that like i ride my 2 horses bareback&without bridle or halter sometimes, its so much fun.i hated it how every 1 use to say i couldn’t ride Buddy when i knew i could,so 1 day i proved them all wrong.buddy has been on my my farm for years even before i was born but he was only riden 2years so he went 8years without being riden,buddy is my bff & dooly of corse.buddy & i trust each other thats y we make such a great team.hes lived on this farm for 17years.mister is a pony that i learned how to ride on but hasn’t been here as long as bud.

ive been taking lessons for 4 and a half years cuz i dont have a horse and its a good chance to learn about them and be around them ive fallen in love wihth a horse named Rosie. hope you continue to have fun!!!!

OMG!!!! I am so excited!!!! Saturday I got to take my 1st horseback riding lesson and it was AWESOME!!! The horse’s name is Benny, hes’s 4 years old, and he is half American Quarter Horse and half Morab. He is a buckskin dun and has the shoulder and leg bars, but the leg bars are sooooo cool because it looks like zebra stripes. I can’t wait to go back this Saturday. I am so happy right now I could scream…lol. I have testing tomorrow and I have to do well or mom will cut my lesson short. I have to go, need to study. Hope all of you are doing well. Bye

OMG…it’s been crazy around here the last couple of weeks. With 4-H, Girl Scouts, Halloween, and all the other stuff, I haven’t had time to get online and update. Hopefully things will slow down a bit after this week and I can get online this weekend. Hope all is well in your world.

I had our county Fair all week. Yeah NO SCHOOL. I also won Reserve Grand Campion under Junior 4-H in Photography and Baked Foods. Today I’m headed back to meet with my BFF and enjoy the carnival, then tomorrow, I’m in the Pet Show. I’m dressing up as a chef (already have the real outfit because I compete) and my pet chicken, Special, is dressing up like a pot of chicken stew….lol. Tomorrow I also have to take pictures since I won ribbons and pick up my awards and projects. Well gotta go. OH…Wait I forgot to say….I only get to get on here once every 2 weeks so if you send me a message and I don’t respond right away, please don’t get mad, I will as soon as I’m back on. Ok that’s all.
